Better by bike
There was a welcome reduction last year in thefts from both Winchester city and the railway station (British Transport Police) following the drop the previous year. But thefts remain a big problem; earlier this month we heard of the theft of a brand new electric foldable bike from the supposedly secure compound at the station.
Announcing an open meeting where we will look at how we might encourage new, nervous, reluctant, and inexperienced cyclists to (get?) get on a bike – without having to wait for Mass Ride No. 9!

Thanks to the masterminds behind the Oliver’s Battery Bike Bus, we have new start locations and a new route for the (formerly) Badger Farm mass ride route.
