Better by bike
Join our friends at Chase The Sun to take part in a family-friendly cycling challenge as part of Pass The PedALL – a festival of cycling for all – at New Park Manor (SO42 7QH) near Brockenhurst in the beautiful New Forest on Saturday 26 September.
Our good friends at Exo Winchester Bike Hub have begun a series of community events, including easy-going social bike rides and bike maintenance sessions.
Bike thefts from Winchester city have halved compared to last year whilst those from the station have almost doubled.
Finally, after several years, the barriers have been removed from the bike racks at the front of the railway station by the trees. Hurrah – happy cyclists and happy trees! It remains a mystery as to why such simple solution took so long to materialise.
If you are riding in the Kings Worthy area, we are excited to announce that Thrive + Wild are offering 10% discount to Cycle Winchester members, on food and drinks in their café in Kings Worthy. A great place to meet up before, after or mid-ride.
