Cycle Winchester: making Winchester and its surrounding settlements better by bike
We want more people cycling, more often, because it makes life better for everyone. Cycling improves physical and mental health and wellbeing, and it helps protect our environment by cutting pollution, congestion and carbon emissions.
We work in two ways:
- Engagement with local people and communities to promote cycling as a convenient, healthy, affordable and environmentally friendly way to get around Winchester and the surrounding area.
- Advocacy. Working with public bodies and other infrastructure providers to advocate improved cycling provision, so that more people of all ages and abilities can ride safely and confidently.
