Announcing a Cycle Winchester Open Meeting
Monday 12th May, 7.30pm at South Downs Social, SO23 8AF.
Every third month Cycle Winchester puts its agenda on hold for a single-focus meeting open to all.
Still buzzing from the recent Mass Ride we are going to spend time looking at how we might encourage new, nervous, reluctant, and inexperienced cyclists to (get?) get on a bike – without having to wait for Mass Ride No. 9!
We will be looking at cycle buddy schemes, work/school bike buses, taster rides, bike kitchens/workshops, bike training, local route-maps and so on.
Please come along if you have:
- ideas to pitch in,
- skills to share,
- experience from elsewhere,
- enthusiasm to assist,
or are just interested to come and listen… and a special welcome if you
are one of those reluctant cyclists!
